Kurma, kurma , kurma

Madina is famous for its kurma Nabi. We are brought to this row of shops selling dates. It is not far from Masjid Nabawi.

My sister buying some kurma at Jabal Rahmah. There are so many types and you tend to get confused. The seller is selling Kurma Nabi @50SR a kilo. Wonder if it is a good bargain?
This is one of tha Dates Plantation. "Ladang Kurma". In the plantation, there is a date store. at the back of the store they served free tea for everyone.

Having Tea while watching the date trees and the busy dates store.

Red Fresh kurma sold at Masjid Quba. Very sweet and fleshy. The one on the below is almost ripe, a bit "kelat" but my brother-in-law likes it that way.

Why I blog???

I better do it before I forget. At least I have one spot where to look at as I grow older. As this is my first I shall write about my family. My husband is Pak Taza. My first son, Mel is in Form 5 at SAB. This year he shall be sitting for his SPM exams. My second son Kamal is in Form 4 at STK. As for myself, I am a retired, tired ex Banker. Been a Branch Manager in Klang Valley and Selangor. Last posting before leaving was in Shah Alam.
